Operations / Office Manager

Breezeway is looking for a dynamic Operations and Office Manager to drive key projects and take a leadership role in Breezeway’s environment and culture. In this role, you'll have an opportunity to partner with Breezeway’s leadership, coordinate directly with customers, candidates, and employees, and optimize the team’s efficiency and organization. This high-growth position will directly support the Chief Executive Officer, and will interact with every part of the business. To be successful in this role, you must be adaptable, proactive, autonomous, and a true team player.

This position is located at company headquarters in Boston, MA. Breezeway is a hybrid team with flexible work from home schedules, but being located in Boston is necessary.

What You'll Do

 

  • Proactively manage calendars with the ability to schedule and prioritize meetings, resolve conflicts, and stay several steps ahead to maintain efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate internal projects across multiple departments.
  • Take a leadership role in the office environment and culture.
  • Vision, plan and execute team events, monthly company events, team building and off-sites.
  • Manage team and executive expenses and partner closely with Finance on budgetary considerations.
  • Coordinate with finance to fulfill vendor payments and internal payment requests.
  • Manage new employee onboarding and purchasing.
  • Assist with strategic planning, goal setting and communications.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where gathering feedback rather than consensus is essential.

     

Who You Are

 

  • 3 - 5 years experience supporting senior leadership or similar experience.
  • Ability to swiftly handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
  • Strong judgment and analytical skills.
  • Organized, solution-oriented, communicative and personable. 
  • Experience working with clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills and propensity to collaborate cross functionally.
  • Talent for multi-tasking, managing up and leading by example.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and knack for prioritization.
  • Self-starter, with extreme ownership mentality.
  • Comfort with little managerial oversight.
  • Inquisitive, life long learner, with yearning to make an impact.
  • Basic bookkeeping / quickbooks experience is a plus.
