People want more service in the spaces where we work, live, and travel. In the same way that we expect same-day delivery, media on-demand, and chauffeured rides at our fingertips, we want property that is perfectly maintained, safe, clean and prepared for our experience.

Delivering this type of detailed property preparation is hard. Property managers are inundated with operational tasks: scheduling teams, tracking property details, coordinating work over multiple locations and unique properties, and monitoring compliance with internal service standards. Meeting these standards requires significant investment in budget, people, training, time, and manual effort. Still there is no guarantee that work won’t fall through the cracks.

Jeremy Gall witnessed this first-hand while working with thousands of rental managers at FlipKey (a company he founded and grew into one of the world's largest vacation rental listing and review sites before TripAdvisor's acquisition in 2013), testing a home services business in Boston, and managing his own vacation rental in South Carolina. Jeremy started Breezeway in 2017 to solve this problem, and to bring hospitality-level service optimization to other property management verticals, starting with the vacation rental industry.

Breezeway's property care and operations platform help professionals coordinate, communicate, and verify detailed work, and deliver the best service experience to clients. Our software and mobile apps have facilitated over 2M property tasks across 80+ million square feet, and help hundreds of rental and hospitality operators service property to the exacting, elevated standards that customers demand. 

Now more than ever, the pandemic has underscored the need for highly detailed, quality-assured and controlled property operations that can be validated and shared with clients. Vacation rentals sit at the intersection of hospitality and property management (high-touch property turnover, rigorous cleaning compliance, and personalized guest service at unique space), and are representative of how space is managed across all property verticals.
