Python Engineer (Remote OK)

Breezeway is looking for a passionate and motivated Python Engineer to join our development team. This role will improve existing technology and build and support new features to make Breezeway better for our customers. Python powers the API behind the Breezeway website and mobile apps, our 30+ integrations with partner software and IoT systems, and the automation of customer operations and communications. You will build upon the existing software and use modern tools and technologies to improve application performance and scalability to keep pace with a growing company.

What You'll Do

 

  • Deliver solutions as an individual contributor, working with other engineers on projects that help improve our customers’ ability to efficiently manage their business operations.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to understand product and user goals, informing decisions with a technical perspective
  • Plan for and solve the scaling challenges of a growing company
  • Take advantage of the opportunity of working on a product-focused engineering team

Who You Are

 

  • 3+ years of experience building and delivering software in a team setting
  • Experience working with and developing REST APIs
  • Solid understanding of back-end principles
  • Understanding of asynchronous web application architecture
  • Proficient with Git
