Safety Card for Short-Term Rentals

Rental property owners and agencies should ensure they place a safety card in a prominent location in each rental dwelling (we recommend posting on a refrigerator, or bulletin board in the main entry way).  

These cards can be handwritten on paper, typed and printed, or commercially produced. Each card should include the following information:

(1) Contact information for medical, fire, police, and the property manager or owner

(2) The address of the rental dwelling

(3) The location of first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and electrical shut-offs
